SAP updated their Note about the “SAP HANA Migration tool” built into SAP HANA V2 which is used to migrate HANA V1 on Power big endian databases to HANA V2 on Power little endian. Basically, SAP is announcing that the SAP HANA Migration tool will NOT be included in HANA V2 installation as of SAP HANA V2 SPS07.

So, if you currently run older HANA V1 databases on SLES 11 BE please hurry up for migration to HANA V2 LE soon …
