SAP has just released an update to SAP Note 2188482 – SAP HANA on IBM Power Systems: Allowed Hardware documenting the support of SAP HANA on E1080 systems for HANA systems running in LPAR configurations of up to 240 cores and 32 TB memory.
… and up to 16 productive HANA LPARs are now also allowed on E1080….
SAP HANA 2.0 Support Package Stack 06 Database Revision 64 is now available externally for download in SP/Patch download area on SAP Software Download Center.

Next long term support release following #saphana SPS5 will be SPS7. Planned release date is April 2023.

Some “best practice” recommendations (you may check twitter entries from Jens Gleichmann) here:
– stay on SPS5 – current Rev. 59-04 if you want to have stable environment
– use SPS6 – current Rev. 63-00 only if you need to use SPS6 new functions – DON’t use at all Rev 60,61,62 !!! see corresponding SAP Notes!!!
– switch from SPS5 to SPS7 when SPS7 “golden revision” will be available in mid/H2 2023….
